2012 Korb Berg Lemberger trocken Goldadler, Württemberg, Germany

Relatively tart sour cherry scent with aromas of red and black berries, some herbs and a hint of tobacco with delicately peppery and also earthy notes. Clear, fine-juicy, relatively cool fruit in the mouth, delicately spicy and herbal flavours, fine, predominantly crumbly tannin, some persistence and delicately creamy, moderate wood spice with traces of vanilla and cream caramel, relatively elegant style, not eternally deep, good finish
