2021 Chardonnay Landwein "Jaspis Nägelin", Oberrhein, Germany

Firm and quite deep, clear, cool and fine citrus-pomaceous fruit nose with fresh vegetal notes, still some yeast, a hint of smoke, mussel meat, light tobacco barrel notes and distinct minerality. Ripe, calm, somewhat melting, yet weightless fruit, very fine acidity, vegetal, light nutty and buttery tones, delicate grip, good substance and persistence, chalky minerality, delicate smoky and light tobacco notes, again also mussel meat, still young, very good, quite firm and clearly mineral finish.
