Cloudy orange. Tart, firm and complex, somewhat open, herbal and initially a little musty bouquet of dried apples, mellow pears, quinces and citrus fruits with clearly yeasty and light nutty aromas, hay, light flowers, a little sauerkraut, peat, iodine, meadow flowers and yellow spice reminiscent of turmeric; becomes tighter, clearer and deeper with air. Very firm in the mouth, ripe, tart, partly dried fruit with yellow spice, some pink pepper and herbal-vegetable notes, lots of yeast, very fine acidity and plenty of fine sandy, friable tannin, nutty and delicately floral flavours on the palate, very slightly bready, concentrated and firm, almost chewy, extremely complex, good depth, still young, very grippy, mouthwatering, tangy minerality, long, sandy-grippy finish with ripe and at the same time tart fruit, blossom honey, cinnamon spice and cardamom. Needs air and temperature. In the nose, especially at the beginning, it takes some getting used to, but on the palate it is a haptic and tart-aromatic experience that you won't get rid of in a hurry
