2016 Bissersheim Goldberg Frühburgunder trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Prominent ethereal and herbaceous notes, fairly cool, fresh style, predominantly black berries with a few red berries and cherries, earthy and delicate peppery notes, hint of tobacco. Firm, tart, juicy, cool, polished fruit on the palate, peppery spice, hint of bacon, more ethereal herbaceous notes, slightly smoky, has grip and substance, very elegant acidity, persistent, some depth, salty notes in the bnackground, still young, some finesse on a very good, juicy, spicy finish. Well made.
