2018 Iphofen Kronsberg Cabernet Sauvignon trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, firm, relatively polished aroma of blackcurrants and a little dried mushrooms with a hint of tobacco, earthy nuances and moderate barrel tones. Straight, tart, clear fruit, slightly smoky and hints of toasty tones, present, a hint of drying tannin, hints of dark chocolate in the background, dried planty and mushroomy nuances, slightly noticeable alcohol, not eternally deep, good to very good, very slightly drying finish with juniper and peppery hints.
