2022 Sulzfeld Sonnenberg Frühburgunder trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Right deep, somewhat nutty, vegetable to ethereal-herbaceous and hinted meaty scent of predominantly dark berries and a little cherries with nuts, some underbrush and smoke. Clear, juicy, firmly structured fruit with nuances reminiscent of forest berries, moist earth, and distinctly pepper, crumbly-sandy tannin, good sustainability, certain depth, in the background chocolaty and slightly roasted wood aromas, but also salt, in a slightly mellow manner dense and relatively complex, very good finish.
