Festering and quite deep scent of red and black berries with juniper aromas, floral and nutty tones, a hint of leather and beetroot. Firmly structured, bitter, somewhat dried out, relatively dark fruit, a lot of smoky wood, earthy, salty and juniper-etheric notes, present, still slightly drying tannin, some root vegetables, mushrooms and bacon, light bite, salty and chalky minerality, certain depth, initially still somewhat brittle, then increasingly juicy, very good finish with dark spice.

Best to drink: Mitte 2025 bis 2030+. What our ratings mean
