Firm and quite deep, relatively cool, fine-vegetable, a little reminiscent of capers with citrus and pome fruit aromas, fresh herbs, seaweed and mineral hints. Taut, rather juicy, a touch sweetish fruit with yellow spice, floral nuances, some mushrooms and again capers, lively acidity and lots of grip of crumbly tannin, persistent, has power but also freshness and bite, some depth, a touch of fresh butter in the background, red berry hints, still rather young looking, very good, juicy and again yellow-spicy finish.

Best to drink: 2023-2027+. What our ratings mean
