2021 Brauneberg Juffer Riesling Spätlese VDP.Grosse Lage, Mosel, Germany

Relatively cool, somewhat planty to herbaceous, almondy and hinted at bacon core and stone fruit scent with delicate floral and slightly mushroomy hints. Polished, sweet, almost candied, bright citrus fruit with slightly blackberry and minty nuances, lively acidity, has some grip and good persistence, salty and chalky minerality, a hint of tobacco in the very good finish.
