2020 Merlot trocken Réserve, Baden, Germany

Somewhat smoky scent of ripe black berries with slightly tobacco and nutty wood aromas, hints of black olives and a little dried herbs in the background. Firmly woven, clear, tangy dark fruit, slightly smoky and nutty wood, dried herbal nuances, a hint of pepper, youthful, fine sandy tannin and some bite, good persistence, has power and at the same time a certain polish, delicate sooty tones in the background, some salt, hints of dark ethereal spice, very good, firm finish. Very skilfully vinified.
