2020 Spätburgunder trocken Réserve, Baden, Germany

Clear, somewhat nutty, a hint of roasted and also herbal aroma of more red than black berries with fleshy traces, wild mushrooms and beetroot. Quite firm, tart, relatively dark fruit with smoky wood flavours, a little bacon and again herbs, present, fine sandy tannin, some acid bite, has power, good persistence, salty hints, a hint of citrus zest and blood orange, very light ethereal tones, very good finish.
