2019 Weißburgunder Landwein "ORANGE", Baden, Germany

Cloudy golden yellow. Floral, nutty and somewhat dried-herbal stone fruit scent with yellow-spicy and tobacco hints as well as a touch of courgette and coffee. Firmly woven, dry, quite juicy fruit with a hint of redcurrants, lively acidity, some carbonic acid, noticeable tannin, good persistence, tobacco, hints of coffee grounds and laurel, grapefruit and mint in the background, salty minerality, very good, grippy, a little drying finish with bitterish spice
