2016 Merlot trocken, Baden, Germany

Light herbs and spices on the nose, predominantly dark berries and cherries. Clear, polished fruit on the palate, nutty and spicy notes, more light herbaceous notes, light acid bite, fine youthful tannins, not particularly deep, but meticulously made and pleasant to drink, quite an elegant style, good, clear finish.
