2017 Wawern Riesling VDP.Ortswein feinherb, Mosel, Germany

Firm nose, still reductive and very yeasty, citrus and stone fruit, peppery and mineral notes. Firm, ripe, juicy fruit on the palate, moderately sweet, very elegant, lively acidity, still has prominent yeasty notes, elegant vegetal notes and a hint of tobacco, light grip, good persistence, prominent earthy and mineral notes, smoky traces, very good firm finish.
