2021 Hergolshausen Mainleite Zweigelt trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, quite polished, delicately herbal-vegetable nose with delicately acidic, relatively fine red and black berry as well as cherry notes. Taut, cool and fresh, juicy, again fine fruit, youthful but harmonious, rather crumbly tannins, slightly nutty and a hint of tobacco and barrel wood tones, a hint of chalky texture, good persistence, elegant style, very good, finely juicy, tart finish.
