2019 Hergolshausen Mainleite Acolon trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Very slightly bacony scent of elderberries and other black berries and a little black olives with herbal-vegetable aromas and a little dark toasty hints in the background. Tart black fruit also in the mouth, clearly toasty wood aromas, some bite and present, yet ripe, youthful tannin, good persistence, medium power, cocoa notes, a hint of black olives, good to very good finish.
