2017 Wagram Grüner Veltliner trocken Classic, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm nose, light yeasty notes, vegetal and herbaceous notes, earthy and mineral notes, light yellow fruit, hint of bacon. Ripe, firm, juicy fruit on the palate, dried vegetal and herbaceous notes, light smoky oak and some bacon, lively, elegant acidity, light tannic grip, good substance and persistence, good to very good firm, juicy finish. Very convincing entry-level quality.
