2003 Wagram Blauer Zweigelt trocken Tradition, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Preserved red berries on the nose, light smoky and stalky notes. Delicately juicy on the palate, slightly sweet-and-sour red berry fruit, fully integrated tannins, still appears fairly young and lively, herbaceous and delicate stalky notes in the background, fairly light-bodied, no roaszed or vanilla notes, and no astringent tannins to detract from a playful, attractive finish.
