2011 Pinot Noir trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Somewhat smoky-roasty and a touch tobacco nose of red and a little black berries with hints of cherry. Clear, straightforward, a touch acidic fruit in the mouth, earthy and dried-vegetable tones, again a little smoky and toasty wood, some persistence, mineral hints, very slightly drying tannin, quite good finish
