Firm and deep, quite fresh, slightly smoky and nutty aroma with vegetal aromas, tart notes of ripe yellow fruits, hints of yellow spice and a hint of wax. Ripe, dry, somewhat melting, yet polished and rather cool fruit, fine, quite lively acidity, yeasty, nutty and vegetal flavours, again some yellow spice and smoke, persistent on the palate, good depth, firm structure, still undeveloped, clear, light minerality, fine grip, tobacco and delicately peppery traces, a hint of capers, becomes rather finer with air, cooler and more precise, very good, again firm finish with tart juice and spice, yeasty tones and minerality. Needs to mature.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2030+. What our ratings mean
