2020 Saulheim Probstey Riesling trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Cool, somewhat herbaceous-vegetal and still slightly yeasty nose with bright, citrusy yellow-fruity aromas, verbena, still very slightly smoky-reductive tones, floral traces, Brazil nut and lots of light minerality. Taut, cool and polished, fine-juicy, again very bright, restrained fruit, lively, very fine acidity, delicate grip, good persistence, chalk and some salt on the palate, floral traces, good substance and depth, still young, very good, cool, fine-juicy and again clearly chalky-mineral finish with a hint of menthol.
