Firm and deep, somewhat spicy and a hint of toasty aroma of partly preserved red berries and rather light cherries as well as a hint of tar and bitter chocolate. Clear, tangy fruit with smoky and a little toasty wood aromas, fine, youthful, still a little sandy tannin, some bite, peppery spicy notes, some power, good persistence, chalky and salty hints, very good, tight, tangy and smoky-spicy finish
