2012 Wachau Ried Loibenberg Riesling Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Very firm, herbaceous, slightly smoky and clearly mineral citrus-stone fruit nose with vegetable aromas reminiscent of pak choi and some paraffin. Taut, clear, juicy fruit with clear herbal flavours, nutty and yeasty traces and again a hint of smoke and paraffin, dense and persistent on the palate, lively acidity, fine grip, a hint of candy, plenty of minerality, has power and tension, still very vital, light creaminess and at the same time a lot of bite, very good, tight, juicy and spicy finish.
