2020 Grauburgunder Landwein trocken "M", Baden, Germany

Clear, nutty aroma of predominantly red berries and some cherries with pomaceous fruit notes, herbaceous-vegetable nuances, tobacco and a little undergrowth. Firm, tart, juicy fruit with nutty, smoky, tobacco and mushroom tones, very fine acidity and grip of ripe, crumbly tannin, medium strength, a little Earl Grey on the palate, some varnish, liquorice and raw meat, persistent, some depth, a hint of beetroot and pepper in the background, mineral tones, very good, juicy and spicy finish, again with a lot of grip and smoky notes.
