Light nutty and tobacco-like aroma of red and black berries with some meadow herbs in the background, some black tea and pepper. Firm, ripe, dark fruit, partly dried, dark, Mediterranean, almost a little exotic spice, hints of aprocose skin, smoky and roasted wood flavours, lively, somewhat citrus-like acidity, medium-fine, crumbly-sandy tannins, coffee notes, good to very good, slightly drying finish, again with coffee bitterness and acid bite.

Best to drink: Bis 2027+. What our ratings mean
