Somewhat developed red and black berry nose with distinct mushrooms, some pepper, hints of dried herbs and moderate, delicately smoky barrel notes. Clear, quite fresh fruit with smoky and small berry flavours, hints of sour cherries and again herbs, somewhat leathery on the palate, floral nuances, minimally drying, slightly sandy tannins, iodine and fleshy traces, quite clear pepper, good to very good finish.
