2019 Bürgstadt Berg Spätburgunder trocken "Großes Holz", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Ripe red and black berries on the nose, dried herbaceous and tobacco notes, nutty and light roasted spicy oak. Straightforward, finely juicy, ripe fruit, partly preserved, moderate, slightly smoky oak notes, restrained nutty and roasted tones, again herbal background, a little cherry, certain persistence, appears round and accessible, crumbly, only minimally drying tannin, good to very good finish.
