Firm, slender, straightforward and fairly tart fruit, present, fine sandy tannins, noticeable acid bite, smoky, slightly bacony, mushroomy and salty notes, good persistence, again rather moderate barrel tones, hints of soup herbs, some depth, relatively sparse style, a hint of iron, very good finish with plenty of bite.
