2021 Bürgstadt Hunsrück Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm, tart, somewhat smoky and moderately woody aroma of black, blue and a little red berries with nutty, slightly earthy notes reminiscent of dried flowers and tobacco. Slender, cool, tart fruit with fine juice and smoky, roasted oak notes, relatively fine, youthful tannins, noticeable bite, a hint of wild mushrooms in the background, some coffee, citrus zest, salty, chalky notes, a certain persistence, sautéed mushrooms in the background, firm, tart, somewhat sinewy finish.
