2017 Großheubach Spätburgunder VDP.Ortswein trocken Alte Reben, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm, tart, fairly cool, undeveloped nose, red and a few black berries, floral traces, delicate herbaceous notes, light mineral notes, hint of cherries. Fairly firm, cool, juicy, tart fruit on the palate, delicate spicy oak, still has yeasty traces, light peppery notes, hint of dried herbs, elegant acid bite, predominantly well integrated tannins, hint of cocoa, mineral notes in the background, still undeveloped, some grip on a very good, fairly firm finish.
