2016 Spätburgunder trocken VDP.Gutswein, Buntsandstein, Blanc de Noir, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Fairly cool and slightly reductive nose, vegetal and herbaceous notes, smoky traces, predominantly red berries, hints of mushrooms and bacon. Fairly tart, polished fruit on the palate, delicately sweetish and creamy, very fine, lively acidity, light oak, fine tannins, light grip, clear contours, good persistence, coffee, almonds and plums in the background, light and dark mineral notes, some more spicy oak on a good to very good elegant, juicy finish.
