2014 Klingenberg Spätburgunder trocken R, Churfranken, Ortswein, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm nose, red and a few black berries, touch of cherries, floral and delicate herbaceous aromas, mineral notes in the background. Clear, polished, fairly juicy cool fruit on the palate, light herbaceous and floral notes, very fine youthful tannins, persistent, delicate nutty and prominent mineral notes, firm grip, has some depth, smoky traces, very good firm, juicy finish. Opens up with aeration.
