2019 Senheim Lay Riesling Auslese, Mosel, Germany

Slightly developed, relatively cool, somewhat nutty and vegetal to dried-herbal nose of candied yellow fruit with a hint of dried mushrooms and tobacco. Clear, ripe, rather slender fruit with integrated sweetness, delicately creamy and nut butter, fine acidity, delicate tannic grip, slight fermentation tones in the background, certain persistence, chalky notes, delicate vegetal bitterness, hints of honey on a good to very good finish.
