2017 Randersacker Teufelskeller Spätburgunder Blanc de Noir, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Fairly cool, very slightly muted nose, floral and nutty notes, hint of mushrooms, citrus fruit, hint of lavender and sage. Fairly tart, concentrated fruit on the palate, noticeable nutty oak, yeasty traces, elegant, lively acidity, touch of pomaceous fruit, some grip, good substance and persistence, some depth, touch of sautéed wild mushrooms in the background, some more lavender, earthy and salty mineral notes, very light waxy traces, hint of tobacco and peppery notes on a very good finish.
