2017 Randersacker Ewig-Leben Spätburgunder trocken Reserve, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Slightly smoky, somewhat warm aroma of red and a little black berries with dried vegetal to hints of tobacco and very slightly peppery aromas. Quite powerful in the mouth, tart, rather dark fruit, dried-vegetable flavours, fine sandy tannin, smoky-woody and a little toasty tones, noticeable, warming alcohol, oniony traces, good to very good, slightly hot finish.
