2022 Leimen Herrenberg Weißburgunder VDP.Grosses Gewächs trocken "Oberklam", Baden, Germany

Firm, somewhat smoky, nutty and vegetal to dried herbaceous nose, pomaceous fruit and some citrus fruit, delicate floral and hint of peppery aromas. Ripe, juicy fruit with some sweetish melting, lively, yet fine acidity, has a grip of ripe tannin, good persistence, nutty and slightly roasted wood notes in the background, a hint of tobacco, chalky and salty minerality, some depth, still young, seems more powerful than it is due to its substance, very good finish with ripe, hinted sweetish juice, yellow spice and wood notes.
