2021 Blaufränkisch trocken "S", Baden, Germany

Slightly roasted, somewhat nutty, vegetal to herbaceous and peppery aroma of dark berries and a little cherry with a hint of roast stock and hints of vanilla. Slightly warm, juicy, firm fruit with some bitter chocolate wood flavours, crumbly, quite present tannins, good substance and persistence, some depth, salty and earthy tones, dried meat and paprika powder in the background, very good finish with bite.
