Quite firm aroma of ripe black berries with a hint of liquorice, some smoky-sooty wood notes, a little sour cherries and floral nuances. Again quite tight dark fruit with some acid bite and fine sandy tannins, smoky-sooty wood, good persistence, dried-vegetable and earthy hints, some salt, has power and slightly noticeable alcohol, good persistence, a little Mediterranean spice, slightly ethereal, very good, smoky-roasty and dark-fruity finish with some bite.

Editor note: Slightly warm, a little wood-spicy aroma of black and red berries with a hint of plums, a hint of pepper and some beetroot. Ripe, melting, again somewhat warm fruit, restrained bite and crumbly, sandy, ripe tannin, nutty hints, slightly herbal-vegetable on the palate, smoky to bacony wood notes, a little salt and chalk in the background, some power, good to very good finish.
