2015 Randersacker Marsberg Spätlese trocken Caractère "Greif", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Some smoked bacon on the nose, prominent vegetal and light earthy notes, pomaceous fruit, light oak, herbs and floral traces. Full-bodied and creamy on the palate, very ripe, partly candied fruit, smoky oak, delicate hint of bacon, very elegant aicdity, good substance and persistence, some depth, yellow spice, slightly sharp notes, some partly dried mandarine, hitn of tobacco, earthy and salty traces, noticeable warm alcohol, very good, fairly juicy, minerally, spicy finish.
