2021 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Chardonnay Riserva "Belasy", Alto Adige, Italy

Nutty, pomaceous fruit aroma with citrus notes, light oak tones, a little butter and earthy, root-vegetable notes. Ripe, tart, juicy, tightly knit fruit, slightly smoky and nutty wood flavours, vegetal notes and a hint of red berries, fine acidity, grip of crumbly tannin, again some butter on the palate, good persistence, certain power and warmth, salty and somewhat chalky minerality in the background, also a little dried Mediterranean herbs, slightly sweetish melting, very good, firm, juicy, mineral and somewhat woody-spicy finish, again with herbal-vegetable aromas.
