Youthful, almost cool nose of rose hips and redcurrants with hints of blackberries and some sour cherries, quite fresh herbaceous notes. Juicy, partly preserved fruit with a certain acid bite and smoky-roasted wood notes, fine sandy, still rather undeveloped tannin, a little juniper-etheric spice on the palate, good persistence, chalky-salty and herbaceous nuances, with air increasingly coffee and cocoa butter, softens slightly with time, but in the very good finish comes again clear, juicy fruit and salt.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
