2018 Spätburgunder Landwein trocken "Res", Mosel, Germany

Quite fresh, a little herbaceous-vegetable scent of mixed berries and cherries with ethereal-peppery notes. Quite juicy fruit with noticeable, bitter-chocolatey wood spice, some coffee and again ethereal notes, quite lively acidity, smoky and meaty tones on the palate, good substance and persistence, some depth, mineral hints, very good finish with relatively dark juice and still a little intrusive-perfuming wood spice
