2022 Monzingen Halenberg Riesling VDP.Grosses Gewächs trocken, Nahe, Germany

Light floral and fresh vegetal notes on the nose, citrus and stone fruit, hint of pears, nutty traces, delicate hay and smoky, reductive notes. Firm, juicy, rather light yellow fruit, nutty, smoky and somewhat herbal flavours, hints of black berries in the background, lively acidity and grip, good persistence, a hint of candy, peppery traces, light carbonic acid, clear, light and dark mineral tones, very good, firm, cool finish with bite, hints of smoke, light aromatic bitterness and black berry tones again.
