2022 Muscaris Auslese, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Fairly firm, increasingly floral and perfumed with aeration, clearly herbaceous, somewhat tobacco and nutty aroma of partly preserved pomaceous and stone fruit with nuances reminiscent of sage and fennel. Clear, very sweet fruit with a hint of cream and strawberries, fine acidity, delicate grip, some persistence, medicinal herbs and hints of yellow spice in the background, chalky tones on a good to very good finish.
