2018 Grauburgunder trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Herbaceous, earthy and nutty notes on the nose, light smoky notes, hint of mushrooms, citrus fruit, peppery traces, hint of bacon. Youthful, fairly tart fruit on the palate, delicately sweetish and creamy, light waxy notes, dried vegetal traces, prominent mushrooms, moderate acidity, pepper and coffee grounds in the background, light grip, good persistence, predominantly well-integrated, fine, sandytannins, light nutty oak, salty notes, more prominent mushrooms on a good to very good, slightly creamy finish.
