2017 Grauburgunder trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Fairly cool, slightly mature nose, yeasty and nutty notes, light dried vegetal notes and wilted flowers, partly preserved yellow fruit, hint of bacon and asparagus. Straightforward, fairly firm, slightly off-dry fruit on the palate, elegant, lively acidity, integrated, still slightly astringent tannins, good persistent, hint of orange zests and red berries, salty mineral notes, clear contours, also still slightly astringent on a good to very good finish.
