2023 Kiedrich Turmberg Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese VDP.Grosse Lage, Rheingau, Germany

Golden yellow in colour. Firm and deep, fine and complex, somewhat nutty and tobacco-like aroma of candied and dried stone fruit with a hint of orange blossom, salted caramel and dark berries. Enormously concentrated, very sweet fruit with fine stone fruit notes, a hint of flowers and honey, lively, fine acidity, has some grip, dense, deep and persistent, cool vegetal tones in the background, intensely salty minerality, also some mussel shells, brilliant juice, still completely undeveloped and almost impenetrable, very long, concentrated finish with bite.
