Red berry nose with cassis notes, delicate barrel tones, hints of pomegranate and a touch of onion. Rather tart fruit with fine tannins and some acidity, a little smoky on the palate, herbal, again a hint of onion tones, hints of wax, light cocoa tones, some persistence, a little salt, good to very good, tart finish.
