2020 Landwein Orange, Rheingau, Germany

Light amber. Quite complex, nutty, tobacco and somewhat dried herbal and delicately floral aroma of mellow yellow fruits with slightly mushroomy hints and a touch of pumpkin. Tart, still slightly yeasty citrus fruit with a hint of mixed berries, lively, almost present acidity, noticeable tannin grip, good persistence, hints of caramel and coffee, some light and dark minerality, rather cool style, very good, again grippy finish
