2022 Wiltingen Braunfels Frühburgunder, Mosel, Germany

Clear, slightly smoky and somewhat dried-vegetable nose of more black than red berries with a hint of plums, some beetroot and hints of bacon. Clear, finely juicy, tart fruit, some dried-vegetable to herbal, nutty and herbaceous tones, fine acidity and crumbly tannin, good persistence, hints of ethereal spice, a little salt in the background, has substance despite the low alcohol, very good finish.
